
I did miss Toph in this one, but I’m glad we got more of Azula. It was lighthearted and really got to the heart of Zuko and Azula’s relationship. I wish we could have gotten an animated continuation, but for now, we have the comics. Action sequences and facial expressions now feel a little 2D, but it’s no fault of the illustrator.

Unfortunately, due to the format, it doesn’t capture the same essence as the TV show. This comic picks up directly after The Promise and it answers one of the biggest questions in TV history: Where is Zuko’s mom? So it’s no surprise that I would love The Search.
